Seven vegetables Couscous Cooking class

It seems that semolina, made from durum wheat, was known in the Maghreb well before the Arab conquest (2nd part of the 7th century). The latter would then have developed a kind of vegetable broth, accompanying the semolina, giving birth to couscous.

The couscous with 7 vegetables, accompanied by meat, is par excellence a family dish that is regularly served during celebrations and religious holidays.

In addition to this dish, you can prepare these other recipes that take part of our traditional Moroccan menu and usually accompany a couscous:

  • The Harira soup, very energetic
  • The Moroccan famous pancakes: Baghrir or M’semmen
  • Preparation of Moroccan pastry
  • Detailed preparation of mint tea
