Workshop description

Tagine is a dish that is suitable for the whole family. To eat it, the group gathers around a dish that has been placed on a coffee table. Each one is used with the right hand and a traditional piece of bread. Fingers should only touch the selected piece and not the rest of the dish. This full-flavored tajine is an inexpensive and healthy way to add more vegetables to your family’s diet.


Vegetables are a basic food package of Berber cuisine; and the vegetable tajine that Aisha offers is a perfect illustration.


To this dish, we added various preparations traditionally served with a tajine and which will compose a traditional Moroccan menu:

  • Rice soup with beans and milk
  • Moroccan salad
  • Traditional bread, cooked in a pan, old-fashioned
  • Traditional and light dessert: fruit salad with fruit or vegetable juice
